Seven standard rooms with a kitchenette, Northern lights suite with kitchenette, fireplace and balcony facing north and an larger apartment with own entrance, three bedrooms and sauna. Common areas: breakfast room, two saunas with dressing rooms, and a spacious meeting and multi-purpose room. There is also an information corner with a bookshelf, room with a fireplace, and a maintenance and storage room for your outdoor equipment like skis and so on.
The seven fells framing this active and genuine Lappish village create both a breathtakingly beautiful scenery and also a paradise for many kinds of activities. Clear and clean lakes and rivers, old-growth forests and tranquil bogs supplement the fell nature. There are two ski resorts at Ylläs and the area offers a wide range of slopes for skiers of different skill levels.
The ski tracks and marked paths to Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park start straight from Äkäslompolo village. The National Park covers over 1000 km2 and offers hundreds of kilometers marked paths and ski tracks, equipped with dozens of fireplaces, lean-to shelters and wilderness huts. The activities do not run out in and around Äkäslompolo!
